  4.  Welcome to QuickCards by Usability Sciences Corporation.

  7. What are QuickCards??
  8. =====================
  9.    
  10.    * QuickCards are function specific information "cards" which help you
  11.        perform everyday tasks with your Windows applications.
  12.  
  13.    * QuickCards list the steps necessary to complete a task in a clear
  14.        and easy manner.
  15.  
  16.    * QuickCards stay on the screen while you perform the steps, so you 
  17.        always have the instructions right in front of you.  No more 
  18.        clicking back and forth between help files and your application.
  19.  
  20.    * You may keep up to 10 QuickCards on the screen at one time.  QuickCards 
  21.        can be easily moved by clicking anywhere on the QuickCard 
  22.        and dragging it to a new position.

  24.    * If a dialog box covers up your QuickCard, simply click anywhere on
  25.         the card and it will become activated.
  26.    
  27.    * QuickCards are linked to the application from which they are launched,
  28.         so if you minimize an application while a QuickCard is up, the
  29.         QuickCard will also minimize.  When you restore the application
  30.         your QuickCard will return as well.

  33. How do I access QuickCards?
  34. ===========================

  36.    * Finding QuickCards is easy.  All your applications that have QuickCards
  37.          have a button that says "QuickCards" on the Application Title Bar,
  38.          right next to the Minimize and Maximize buttons.

  40.    * Whenever an application is active, the QuickCard button will be
  41.          available.
  42.    
  43.    * Simply click the "QuickCards" button and choose the task you need
  44.          from the list that appears.  Then, click the "QuickCard" icon on
  45.          the dialog box, or double-click the task in the list.

  48. What applications do I have QuickCards for?

  51.    * QuickCards are currently available on this system for most of the
  52.      major products we support.  Look for the "QuickCards" button
  53.      on the Caption Bar.

  55.    * You also have QuickCards for Windows FREE.  They are currently 
  56.          available on : Program Manager, File Manager, Control Panel,
  57.          Write, Print Manager and Terminal.
